Librarian Nichole Gomez gave birth to Julian Tomas (JT) Gomez, a baby boy who weighed nine pounds and two ounces, on Saturday, Sept.22 at a hospital in Long Beach. Head of School Barbara Wagner e-mailed all employees on Sept. 24, informing faculty and staff of the birth and encouraging community members to send their regards.
“I am sure Nikki would be happy to hear from her Marlborough friends during this very happy time,” Wagner said.
Librarian Maggie Michaelson, who has worked closely with Gomez for the past four years, sent an email to Gomez on Sept. 29, inquiring whether the baby looked like Fernando, Gomez’s husband, or Gomez herself.
“His coloring and facial features resemble me,” Gomez responded. “But, JT has his dad’s hands and feet.”
Gomez will return to School on Jan. 7, 2013.
