Tongue Tied

Perhaps attempting to steal over six pounds of cow tongue from Wal-Mart in DeLand, Florida, was not the wisest move for 44-year-old Jason Puckett. After a Wal-Mart security guard spotted Puckett stuffing two packages of meat down his pants, the guard stopped him on his way out of the store.

Puckett denied having fully-loaded pants, claiming that he had put the $35.35 worth of tongue back on the shelf. When Puckett thought he was not being watched, however, he removed the packages from his waistband and ran out of the store. Police caught Puckett, who was then taken to Volusia County Branch Jail with bail set at $2,500. Puckett is being charged with misdemeanor theft, according to The Huffington Post.
