Oh the places you’ll go…

Got books? The 7th graders do. This January, the 7th grade collected 600 books to give to Bookends, a non-profit organization that recycles children’s books. This year, Bookends plans to donate the books to Para Los Niños, an organization that strives to improve the academic success and social well-being of children. The seventh grade student-run book drive has been a long lasting tradition at Marlborough. In past years, the seventh graders collected on average 1,600 books and one year reached a record of 2,100 books. Although the numbers this year were not as staggering, the seventh graders should still know that the 600 books they donated will hopefully make a difference in a child’s life at Para Los Niños.
