It’s no secret that Marlborough girls wear boxers under their skirts. We really don’t hide our boxers. In fact, we almost flaunt them. This odd fashion statement is not a universal one, which is often easy to forget when we walk off campus and realize that this is not a socially acceptable style.
There’s nothing weird about wearing boxers, and it’s the perfect solution for our oh-so-tiny skirts. I definitely enjoy getting new boxers at the start of each school year…almost as excited as I am to get new school supplies. Where do I go? Straight to the men’s section of any store, of course! Is it just me, or do I prefer men’s boxers more than women’s boxers?
So how long have Marlborough girls been wearing boxers? The world may never know. But I do know that I pull down my skirt a few inches before heading off to Larchmont.
