    approval

Marlborough has received its six-year accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and California Association of Independent Schools (WASC-CAIS).

“There was no doubt that we would be accredited, based on the visiting committee’s positive response and the way they related to everyone at school, but it still feels good to get the official notice in the mail,” said Susan Guild, French instructor and steering committee co-chair for the school’s 2008, 2002, and 1996 re-accreditation cycles.

Next fall, Marlborough staff and faculty will begin to implement the suggestions proposed in the school’s self-study report, along with recommendations offered by the WASC-CAIS visiting committee last February.
