I notice at least three yogurt stores on my way to the Korean supermarket as I drive down Wilshire and into the heart of Koreatown. Each has a colorful neon sign, a thinly veiled imitation of the original: Pinkberry. I wonder – could the knock-offs be better than the original?
I decided, selflessly, to taste them first hand. There are at least a dozen different chains of yogurts stores in Los Angeles, according to yellowbook.com. I whittled it down to four: Berry Nutty (formerly

- "THE DUTES":Three alum created own group, "The Dutes" and language, "Coconut Talk" during their time at Marlborough.
- EXPLORER: Cobey re-discovers Galco's Soda Pop Stop in Pasadena, which sells over 500 obscure soft drinks.
- TOWN HALL:Class counsils plan to hold "town hall" meetings to hear student's opinions and their solutions.
- FATHER-DAUGHTER FUN: The 55th annual Father-daughter picnic combines new activities and food with old traditons.
- CHEESE APPRECIATON CLUB:Learn about new Marlborough clubs, including the Indie club, Poetry club, and Chees Appreciation Club in the Ultraviolet's Club Corner!
- SLAGLE BAGEL'S BAKERY:Even with all the bannana bread recipe's out there, this Banana Walnut Bread with coconut is the best.
- MILLAR'S TIES: Their advisory's morning ritual is deciding what tie History instuctor Tom Millar will wear.
- THE SOUND OF SILENCE: Student radio station Marlborough Public Radio (MPR) is no longer broadcasting due to a lack of student participation.
